Notes
- In 2021, Greenpeace reported that one crew member onboard the Chang Tai 802 submitted a complaint with forced labor concerns involving abuse of vulnerability, physical and sexual violence, intimidation and threats, and abusive working and living conditions. That same year, a crew member spotted a team of reporters approaching and shouted, “I want to go home,” but satellite data shows that the vessel did not stop for another year.
- In August 2019, the Chang Tai 802 dropped off a crew member suffering from kidney disease in Chimbote, Peru. His superior coerced him into flying straight home without stopping for urgent treatment in Chimbote.
