Thalib, who worked on board the Han Rong 369, said that the ship met wiht the Han Rong 366 at some point and he saw one crew member whose body was swollen all the way up to his chest. ILO standards met for life and work under duress and impossibility of leaving employer.

In 2021, 29 Filipino crew from the Han Rong 362, 366 and 369 were left stranded onboard by their employer when the boats they were working on ceased operations in May 2021 and Covid restrictions stranded the ships in southeastern China. The Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs arranged for 6 to be repatriated in December 2021. The crew said they were not paid their wages, and that the captain withheld clean water from them, attempted to confiscate their SIM cards and threatened to push them onto lifeboats out on the middle of the sea.
  3. The employer and manning agency of a Filipino deckhand aboard the Han Rong 366 named Nante Maglangit were ordered by the National Labor Relations Commission of the Philippines in July 2022 to pay him for unpaid wages.
