Email sent to three contact addresses for Air Koryo.
The email said: "We’re contacting you in light of our latest investigation which concerns the use of forced labor in China’s seafood processing industry, and the role Air Koryo plays in the transfer of North Korean labor overseas. The use of overseas North Korean workers was banned by the United Nations Security Council in 2017, with Resolution 2397 setting a deadline of December 2019 for the repatriation of all such persons to North Korea. News outlets reported last year that Air Koryo flew hundreds of North Korean overseas workers back to North Korea in August 2023. Does Air Koryo have any comment or clarification to make in response to this?"
