Email sent to the contact address for Donggang Xinxin Foodstuff Processing Co. Ltd.
The email said: "I’m contacting you in light of our latest investigation which concerns the use of forced labor in China’s food processing industry. We have uncovered evidence that Donggang Xinxin Foodstuff (东港鑫鑫食品加工有限公司) employed North Korean laborers after the December 2019 deadline for the repatriation of overseas North Korean workers required under UN Security Council Resolutions. This evidence shows North Korean workers at Donggang Xinxin Foodstuff’s plant as recently as 2023. Does Donggang Xinxin Foodstuff have any comment or statement to make in response to this email?"
